Last year, during an extensive landscaping project, our electricity to our garage was cut inadvertently. Kevin Vickers at GE group provided expert knowledge to not only rewire the service to the garage, but also to look to the future & put in 200 amp service for EV charging. This year we bought an electric car and Kevin completed the wiring and installed the charger and got us the $1,500 Excel wiring rebate as well as the charger rebate for an additional $500. Lastly he told us which Excel energy program to enroll in so now we charge from 10pm to 6am at about 1/3 of the cost. It's not often I get that kind of expertise and service. I would highly recommend his work.

Excellent work and customer service! Easy to work with, quick and clean for both scheduling and the work - from initial call to final permit inspection was less than a week! I had an EV charger installed and would absolutely work with Golden Electric again for future electrical needs in my home.

I had GE Group come out to install a Tesla charger in my garage and do the circuitry to accommodate 240v outlet capacity. Having a detached garage required a bit more work (separate meter and panel installation) and upfront cost. However, after several quotes, GE was the most competitive by far. The scheduling was very quick, and the techs arrived and got the job done in a few hours. They were polite and helpful with questions and cleaned up the area afterwards. I should note that GE is an authorized Tesla installer, and the best part is the communication with Kevin, the owner who fielded all my questions in a very direct and concise manner. GE is also well connected (pun intended) with Xcel Energy and has coordinated inspections, final connection, and service set up. I highly recommend GE if you need an EV home charging set up especially if you have a detached garage.
